NOAH STRAND is a native of Adamstown, Maryland, and began his dance studies at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington, D.C. In 2014, he was invited to train full-time at the School of American Ballet (SAB) at Lincoln Center, where he was named a Jerome Robbins Scholar and performed on stage with the New York City Ballet in productions by Peter Martins, Chris Wheeldon, and others. Noah appeared in numerous premieres through the New York Choreographic Institute and staged his own work titled Hammers. He has also trained and appeared on stage with the Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet.

Noah later returned to his hometown to develop an all-male ballet training program. In 2019, he joined Moveius Contemporary Ballet in Washington, D.C. While he completed a policy degree at the University of Maryland and a post-graduation fellowship on Capitol Hill, Strand continued to perform in various guest roles and serve on the faculty of dance academies in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. This is Noah's second season with FSBT.
