Lance Posternak
LANCE POSTERNAK was born in Boston and educated at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. After his graduation in 2019, Lance became a member of the Junior Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera.
Since joining First State Ballet Theatre in August 2021, he has danced roles such as Marzipan and Russian in The Nutcracker, Satanella Pas de Deux, Pas de Trois from Swan Lake, and others in ballets such as Don Quixote, Giselle, Vesna Orlić’s Carmina Burana, and more. He has worked with choreographers including Rafael Avnikjan, Zachary Kapeluck, Blake Krapels, Lukas Gaudernak, and Viktor Plotnikov.
Outside of First State Ballet Theatre, Lance works with The HARID Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida, particularly with their Summer Intensive program, where he enjoys working with aspiring young artists.
This is his sixth season at First State Ballet Theatre.
