Isabella Flickinger

ISABELLA FLICKINGER is a Newark, Delaware native and will join First State Ballet Theatre as a Trainee for the 2026-2027 season. She began competitive dance at age 7 before joining the Wilmington Ballet Academy at age 9 to solely focus on ballet. She then became a student at The School of First State Ballet at 11, where she has had the privilege of developing her technique and artistry for the past 7 years. Isabella graduated from The School of First State Ballet, where she also had the opportunity to dance in Giselle, Don Quixote, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker alongside the professional company.

Isabella has been recognized through scholarships from the National Ballet Competition, including Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet, and Sarasota Ballet.

Isabella is excited to begin her first season with First State Ballet Theatre and continue developing as an artist.
