Hayley Miller
HAYLEY MILLER began dancing at a young age and also trained as a rhythmic gymnast, eventually qualifying for the Junior Olympics. Soon after, she chose to fully pursue her passion for ballet. Hayley trained under Allynne Noelle and Thomas Brown—former principal dancers with Miami City Ballet and the Suzanne Farrell Ballet—as well as artists including John Clifford, Tom Gold, Adam Sklute, Martin Harvey, and Maria Kowroski. She attended summer intensives at Ballet West, Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet, and competed in the Youth America Grand Prix, where she was honored to receive first place at the regional level.
At 17, Hayley was offered a trainee contract with Orlando Ballet and was promoted to the second company the following year. During her time there, she performed in The Nutcracker, The Jungle Book, Giselle, Moulin Rouge, and a range of contemporary works.
Hayley joined First State Ballet Theatre two seasons ago. Since then, she has debuted as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and performed in Coppélia, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, and the world premiere of Zachary Kapeluck’s The Breath Between. She is excited to return for her third season with First State Ballet Theatre and looks forward to another inspiring year with the company.
