Contemporary (9+)

This contemporary technique class is designed to help dancers start understanding various movement styles. The students will learn how to retain choreography that goes beyond traditional movements of ballet, resulting in a more confident approach to new movement styles.

Mondays 4:30p

Jazz (9+)

This jazz technique class is designed to help dancers find a deeper and more confident approach to movements done to contemporary music and vocal music, as well as challenging the dancers to work predominantly in parallel or “sixth position” strengthening their dominate muscles to provide a balanced cross-training. 

Tuesdays 5:30p

 
 

Acro (6-9)

Acro is a style that incorporates both traditional and rhythmic gymnastics concepts into dance. This class is designed to help build out skills like an Ariel or back walk over. In addition to teaching fundamental gymnastic tricks, the class also pushes mobility, increase back flexibility and overall strength.

Progressing Ballet Technique

Developed by Marie Walton-Mahon “to help students advance in all dance forms through muscle memory” this certified cross-training utilizes strength and stretch exercises with the medicine ball to enhance and reinforce the movement concepts and muscles needed to help a dancer excel.
