Adão Campos
ADÃO CAMPOS began their dance journey with Capoeira and related afro-indigenous dance forms at a young age. Beginning in 2017, Adão received the bulk of their formal dance education from Orlando Ballet School, along with intensive courses with the school of Philadelphia Ballet, Balletx, Co/Motion, and RUBBERBAND. Their main teachers include Yan Chen, Deirdre Miles Burger, Phillip Broomhead, Charmaine Hunter, and Kim Marsh.
Adão began their professional career with Orlando Ballet ll under Robert Hill before moving to First State Ballet Theatre in 2021. Notable works in their career include Val Caniparoli's Lambarena, Victoria Morgan's Cinderella, Pas de Deux from Flames of Paris, Pas de Trois from Swan Lake, and Renfield in Viktor Plotnikov's Dracula.
Adão is delighted to be returning to First State Ballet Theatre for a fifth season.
